I'm not even really sure what to say right now. I've been thinking for a while about what to write, but I just don't feel like the words would do this book justice. There was so much love packed into this story. You can feel the love shared between Rune and Poppy lifting from the pages. I don't think I've ever felt so many conflicting emotions so close together while reading a book. I had to put the book down and take a break a couple times from crying so hard, but then I'd pick it right back up and continue because I had to know how the story would end. This book broke my heart so many times, but not long after, it would put it back together. Poppy and Rune had the kind of love that everyone wishes to have in their life at least once. There were sweet, heartwarming moments, memories created, dreams come true, and laughs. There was sadness, frustration, anger, disappointment, shock, and devastation. It all wound together to create the perfect story for the perfect love. This book has really made me realize that I need to stop, take a breath, slow down, and just *live*. Live this live to the fullest extent possible, because it is the only one you will get and your length of time on this Earth isn't guaranteed. Don't waste any moments. |
